Look Who Is Gonna Be a Big SISTER!!

Yes you are!!! My sweet angel will be a big sister!!  And you get a double dose!! We found out we will be having TWINS!! SHOCKER!! We still don't know whether you are gonna be a big sis to boys, girls, or boy/girl??  We will find out July 8th, 2011.  We tell you that mommie has two babies in her tummy.  You kiss my tummy and tell us how you are gonna be a big sister.  We found out we were expecting April 3rd, 2011.  The twins due date is actually December 1st, 2011. We are guessing they will make an early appearance, so we tell people sometime in November.
You have no idea how much our world is about to change!!  Mommie can't even wrap her mind around it.  I am going to have 3 babies! WOWSIE!! But I am sure you will be a big help! You sure are a great mommie to all your dolls. Which you have named--Chili, Joey, and Jenny.  Actually, Jenny and Chili are the same doll, but we decided you have diagnosed her with bipolar because she goes back and forth between her names!  Speaking of names, we are trying to come up with your siblings names.  It is a little harder picking out two names versus just one, but that is just going to be the case with everything I suppose!! Harder but twice as sweet!!  I am soo ready to welcome your baby siblings into this world.  I can't even imagine loving another child as much as I love you, but I am sure I can find some room in my heart for two!! They will fill our hearts even more, but never ever replace the bond and love I have for you!  Even if mommie seems so busy with the twins, I hope you never forget that!! You are my sweet angel, and I love you sooo much!! !

Swimming Lessons 2011 / 2 1/2 years old

You are taking swimming lessons with Mrs. Pam Owens.  It amazes me how well you listen to Mrs. Pam.  You do not like to go under water, but if Mrs. Pam says so, you will.  Of course, not without crying and pleading not to!! I think today, I will count the number of times you say, "I don't wanna go under". It kills your daddy to watch his baby girl cry nearly the entire time of swimming lessons! He had to go inside Mrs. Carla Colvin's house last time so he could muffle out your crying!! LOL! It really kills him!  Mommy, on the other hand, loves to watch and laughs at how funny and dramatic you can be.  I know you are in good care, so I can bare through the crying fits.  You are doing so good.  You can go under, blow bubbles, and kick to Mrs. Pam.  Maybe you will be an amazing swimmer like your daddy was at 3.  He was actually on a swim team at that age. Amazing!! At this point, Mommy just wants you to be able to save yourself if you decide to jump in the pool.  After all the crying, at the end, you still want to come back the next day! Blows my mind!  Ms. Cindy Kranz is bringing you to lessons tomorrow--I sure hope you are a big girl for her!! I hate to miss a single lesson, but Mommy and Daddy are going to Papa's visitation.  I am sure you will do a wonderful job without us.  You are so adorable the entire time.  But the cutest ever is when you and Mrs. Pam count before you go under.  You count 1-2-3 and the whole time you can hear the dread in your sweet voice, but you do it like a big girl.  I love you so much!! I can't wait to wrap you up in your towel as soon as you get out the pool and brag on how awesome of a swimmer you are!! UPDATE ON YOUR LESSONS!!---WEEK 2 and now you are a pro!! It is hilarious the dramatic change you have made!! You tell Mrs. Pam "I wanna go under". HUH?!? Amazing what a few days of lessons can make.  You can even jump off the diving board and swim to the steps.  Needless to say, I am one PROUD mommie!! You are an awesome, brave, ADORABLE, swimmer. I loooove my baby girl so much!! And not to mention, you have the sweetest most patient teacher EVER!! She is wonderful with you.  We already have your spot reserved with Mrs. Pam for next year.  Can't wait to see you in lessons again.  It was so fun!

Papa

Last night at midnight Papa passed away.  He passed on May 8, 2011.  We are grateful that he is now at peace and in a much better place.  He will be greatly missed.  Brooklynn is 2 years and 7 months old.  I am not sure if she will remember Papa, but he sure thought a whole lot of her!
